Sine = Opposite / Hypotenuse, Cosine = Adjacent / Hypotenuse, Tangent = Opposite / Adjacent. Always identify the sides from the angle you are asked about.
Angle A or angle B?
Problems ask about both acute angles. The opposite and adjacent sides swap when you switch angles — a great check of understanding.
