Count the decimal places

Multiply as if there were no decimal points, then count the digits after the decimal point in both numbers: 1.4 × 0.3 → 14 × 3 = 42, two decimal places, so 0.42.

Make it a timed challenge

Put a visual classroom timer on the board and see how many problems students can finish before the time runs out. Print a new version tomorrow and try to beat the score.
